Features Overview

Nutrition

"Nutrition education can help permanently pivot a child’s eating habits if taught at an early age. A balanced diet can help students increase energy levels, promote a functioning immune system, improve their ability to cope with stress, and increase concentration and performance in school."

Fitness

Regular physical activity can help children and adolescents improve cardiorespiratory fitness, build strong bones and muscles, control weight, reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, and reduce the risk of developing chronic health conditions at an early age.

Wellness

Social and emotional wellness in childhood entails achieving developmental and emotional milestones, acquiring healthy social skills, and learning effective coping mechanisms for challenges. Children who are mentally healthy experience a positive quality of life and demonstrate adept functioning at home, in school, and within their communities."

We are dedicated to enhancing the well-being of children by fostering their physical, mental, and social development from kindergarten through 8th grade. Gen-Health Message

For Teachers

Educators and those looking to get into the Education field, Gen Health provides a unique opportunity to impact children’s education, as well as their physical and social well being.

Educators that share our programs passion to service communities in need are encouraged to join or contribute to our cause.

For Parents

Amidst increasing obesity rates in children and ongoing national health concerns, parents are increasingly focused on their children's well-being. Our program addresses a pressing issue that has become a significant concern for parents nationally..

We ensure children receive the recommended level of nutrition education and assist them in meeting age-appropriate weekly physical fitness standards.

For Schools

As health education gains prominence within the Department of Education (DOE), challenges arise due to the existing structure of school schedules and resource constraints. Many schools face difficulties in integrating nutrition education, social-emotional learning, and physical fitness into their daily plans for students.

Our program presents a straightforward solution: we supplement children's education, assist schools in meeting new health guidelines set by the DOE, and offer essential after-school services to underserved communities.
