Executive Branch

Damaris Solano, CEO

Damaris brings over 25 years of experience as a Department of Education teacher serving kindergarten through 5th grade. Having taught in the same underserved Bronx communities that Gen Health now serves, she brings firsthand knowledge of the challenges children face — and an unwavering commitment to changing outcomes. Her classroom was always more than a place for academics; it was a space where every child felt seen, supported, and empowered.

Joel Olivero, COO

Joel holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and brings years of hands-on experience in nonprofit community development. He has designed and implemented after-school curricula across New York City, and is certified in crisis de-escalation. Joel ensures that Gen Health's programs are not only well-structured but deeply responsive to the social and emotional needs of every student we serve

Juan Camilo, CFO

Juan holds dual degrees in Finance and Legal Studies and brings seven years of investment banking experience at a major financial institution, including Series 7 and Series 63 certifications. As an experienced small business owner, he also understands the ground-level realities of organizational management. Juan oversees Gen Health's financial planning, data analytics, and long-term strategy — ensuring that every dollar is invested where it creates the most impact.

Our Wellness Coaches

Our wellness coaches are the heart of our daily programming. Working directly with students each afternoon, they lead fitness sessions, facilitate nutrition workshops, and guide social-emotional learning activities. Each coach is carefully selected for their ability to connect with young people and their passion for community health.
